Program

Three contrasting and complimentary visions of passion and power. Geoffrey Gonzalez premieres his latest story ballet, West Side Story, set to Leonard Bernstein’s legendary score. Elizabeth Wistrich’s Enigma blends atmospheric electronic sounds, haunting vocals, and world music influences to create a deeply immersive multimedia experience. And the pas de deux from Christopher Wheeldon’s The American combines lyrical partnering and expressive movement to capture the optimism, intimacy, and emotional complexity at the heart of the American experience.
